French designer Jean Paul Gaultier presented his Fall Winter 2016 Couture collection inspired by a stroll through a forest in Japan. “It really was like a revelation. I saw magnificent woods, so I made wood prints and worked them in planks, like marquetry,” Gaultier said backstage. “It’s all about Zen and nature and the environment.”
